Our "Be the Church" community outreach will kickoff this fall and we hope you will join us. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community, strengthen our bonds as a church family, and experience the joy of giving back. Individuals, small groups, and families welcome !!
We have several exciting service projects planned:
* **Saturday, September 20th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM:** Join us as we partner with The Wash Foundation. We'll spend the morning packing soap that will be distributed globally to combat disease and reduce waste. It's a rewarding experience knowing our efforts directly impact communities in need. Age requirements: Volunteers must be at least 8 years old. Children ages 8 through 15 require supervision by a parent or guardian.
What to wear: Closed toe shoes are required. Comfortable clothing is recommended as our volunteer space is not climate controlled. Be prepared to leave a little soapy.
What to bring: A refillable water bottle and consider bringing your own latex-free gloves to help mitigate our environmental impact.
* **Saturday, October 25th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM:** Join us as we partner with New Missions. Let's bring some holiday cheer to children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic! We'll be assembling gift boxes filled with joy and hope for these deserving kids. Your participation will make a significant difference in their lives. What to wear: Closed toe shoes and comfortable modest clothing are recommended. The volunteer space is air conditioned.
What to bring: Just your smiling self - water is available at the facility.
* **November Service Project:** Details for our November project will be announced shortly. Beyond these scheduled events, we also have ongoing opportunities to serve through partnerships with the following organizations - Click on the organization to learn more - West Orange Dream Center, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, and Edgewood Children's Ranch. These organizations provide vital support to our community and your involvement can significantly amplify their impact.
